St. Stephen's Respect Life Program seeks to build a culture of life through prayer, action, and education. Various activities take place throughout the year, especially during the Respect Life Month of October and surrounding the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday in January. During October, the Respect Life Program sees to setting out an eye-catching display of pink and blue flags which illustrate the number of babies lost to abortion in one 24 hour period in the United States. As an extention of the Respect Life Program, the Respect Life Committee has opened Guadalupe Project, which seeks to build a culture of life through providing materials and support for young families in our local community.
